On the day of departure, please check out at Reception and hand in your key card before 10.00 am. Checking out late may result in an extra night’s charge.
You should leave your room in a clean and tidy condition with all personal possessions removed and all rubbish disposed of correctly. Failure to do so, or the discovery of any damage in your room, could result in the loss of your security deposit. Remember to empty your kitchen locker if you have one.
If you are not returning, you can request a refund of your security deposit by emailing the Accommodation Team (accom@ish.org.uk) with photo ID (passport or driver's licence) and details of the bank account into which you would like the money to be transferred. The Accommodation Team will check the condition of your room, then authorise the refund.
Unclaimed security deposits will be treated as charitable donations to the House after five years.
